Snow depth 110 cm at 1850 m - east aspect. A couple cm of fresh snow on a solid melt-freeze crust from the warm weather last week. Very hard ice crust 25 cm below surface that was moderately-well bonded to other layers. Below this ice crust, everything was consolidated. Temperature around zero. Skiing was actually ok (no breakable crust) on the hard surface in the shade or soft snow in the sun.
