Cypress Dawn patrol

Spring like below 1100m with wet snow from lack of overnight freeze. 10cm of new snow above, with variable skiing over crust, previous tracks, and tree bombs. Ridge top at 1400m showed evidence of strong overnight west winds, with rime/sastrugi. Observed more avalanche debris on northwest side of Hollyburn between 1150-1250m, and also a Sz 1-2 on a planar slope below treeline (1300m?) on east aspect of Strachan. 1cm breakable rain crust between 1100m-1300m. Sunny, calm winds above the clouds.
