Multiple hand shears showed moderate to hard results 15 to 60 cm down depending on aspect and elevation. Failures were irregular within the unconsolidated layers immediately above old wind affected snow. Warmer dense snow isn't being transported as much in moderate winds at tree line. No natural activity observed. Visibility was limited. Snowing all day less than 1cm/ hr.
