Went for a jaunt up the looker's left most finger. It was raining at the MacPherson parking lot and the snow below 1000m was dense. Above, light powder was to be found everywhere!
As I was transitioning at the top of the finger, a size 1.5 avalanche slid from the steep slope above me, only meters from where I was standing. I was thankfully sheltered behind some trees.
The skiing was deep, bottomless, light, and fluffy. However I wanted to get the f*** out of there so I bolted my way back to the parking lot.
