A little noodle around Baldy south in search of some much needed pow. Highways were also out playing with their heli and dropped a few bombs. Dug a quick test pit on South aspect of Baldy @ 1970m -11 @ 14:00 outside air temp, Nil wind in open tree Foot pen 35cm Fist and 4F snow down to ~45cm with supportive MFcr below Results from Column and Extended Column tests: CTE 6 sudden planer down 16cm - Storm slab CTM 14 sudden planner down 83cm - Rotten snow below crust ECTN 8 down 24cm ECTP 27 down 78cm - Between crusts of rotten snow and crusts Also to note: Small dry loose Na avalanche spotted on unnamed Lee feature on Baldy south, likely on 16 down crust.
