Fresh Tracks at Red Heather

Terrific riding. 5-10cm of fresh snow fell at some point over the past few days, not many tracks through it. There's a definite harder layer immediately below the fresh layer. Wet surface snow in the afternoon in the treeline, below treeline was very sticky wet snow, even in the shade. The couple steeper (near 35°) transitions we rode felt stable.

Parking lot 10am: 1°C, cloudy/foggy Hut/Summit noon: 4°C, clear sky, hot and sunny. Parking lot 3pm: 6°C, back in the clouds
