Rock Isle Lake

Toured around Rock Isle Lake, a small 30m wide slide triggered by a cornice fell on the leeward side of this face of approx 45 degrees, revealed a 40cm deep fracture. Snow was otherwise stable on low angle slopes. Great snow in areas not affected by wind. Lots of snow being transported in to leeward slopes with multiple buried cross loaded slabs in the alpine.
