Quick Observation
We, along with about everyone else at the disco parking lot, skied video pk this afternoon. We chose the alternate line (S bowl) to try and get away from the crowds. The solar felt quite strong all morning. However dropping in at around noon we were very surprised with how well it skied. Though the sun was strong, only the steeper S/SE aspects seemed to be notably affected. The uptrack for video is a little thin at the top still but is set in very nicely. Skied 8812 bowl out to close off the day, it looks like a ski resort down that thing right now. Everyone who has 2 legs and has heard of rogers pass has skied it in the last week. Balu ski out still has some sparks to be had. Up to 3cm SH found throughout the lower basin and up into the tree line (~1850m). There was an inversion all day with clouds staying below ~1800m. Low to no wind all day. Video north appears to be filling in quite nicely; however Bruins glacier still has some serious holes to navigate so is on pause for now. STS, Niccy’s notch, and Cheops north have all been skied in the last few days. Hope this helps.
