Quick Observation
Very wet snow, sometimes like riding through a slurpee. Felt like spring skiing. Lots of big pinwheels to avoid that looked like they formed Tuesday. At 1800 m, a thin ice crust formed on the surface of the snow in open areas. Though, in the trees, the snow was still very heavy and soft, even up to 1975 m. At 1800 m, snowpack was 73 cm depth. 1 cm ice crust on top, then 32 cm of snow above previous rain layer.
