Quick Observation
Observed 3+ size 0.5 to 1 slab avalanches on isolated wind loaded features on south faces. Kicked off one 0.25 on such a spot for fun. Isolated convex slope popped ~30cms down just below apex of the convexity ~35degrees. We tried to traverse the south side of the lake in the sun but snow was barely edgeable. Ended up skiing one of the chutes towards the hwy that wasn’t completely scoured. One wumph and crack about half way down the chute on the wind loaded side (ne). Did not slide as the snowpack was too firm and consolidated/connected to the bottom of slope to slide or break part at all. Wind pressed crust transitioned to breakable and then finally some soft stuff as we descended.
