Sugar Cube Couloir Quick Lap

Quick boot up the Sugar Cube to the top of the cube, did not continue into the bowl above. Minor cross loading in fan below, observed shooting cracks propagating 5m off skis on lee features, snow was much more consistent on NE side. Average 20cm of F overlying approx. 60cm of 1F consolidated midpack on top of basal facets. Supportive midpack made for quick bootpacking and high quality skiing, though if this begins to break down and no longer bridges the basal facets stability may be reduced. Old size 1 dry loose off the rocks above the Sugar cube ran the length of the slope arresting above the fan, though did not entrain any of the adjacent storm snow. Numerous older point releases observed off the ridge above, none entraining.
