Quick Observation
Dug pit on west aspect. Moisture went way down. Got a ctm result at 68cm and a cth at about 90. Total snowpack depth was 115. Both failures were very sticky slip failures. Lower one re-welded itself back together immediately after slipping. Firm crust on ground. Moist facets.
Weather
Wind blew all day, getting more intense in afternoon.
Snowpack
Wind effected area. 15cm new accumulation. New snow is dry and cold(er). Interesting to see difference from yesterday when we tested a south facing slope with deeper snow and found a crust had stopped most of the water migration. Snow was good until about 1560m at which point it got heavy and wet very quickly. Did not descend below about 1450
