We skied Buzz's Ridge two days after we triggered two avalanches - See min report with size 1 and 2 avalanches. We did a column test and noted 3 distinct ice crust layers from recent freeze/thaw conditions, with new snow deposited between each layer. The two avalanches we triggered slide on the lower level crust. However, yesterday (Saturday) I ski cut a steep slope with a 35 degree pitch and no release. It appears that the upper snow pack is beginning to bond. Nonetheless, we still skied mellow trees and avoided steep terrain. Be safe.
