Quick Observation

A very stable day in the notorious bowl... with loads of tracks still to be had. Although the tracks already there had set up pretty good and made for some pretty big bumps as you rode over them! Snow was super stable... even on an slope that measured 45+ degrees. Previous avalanche debris from before the last snow was visible having run from below the head wall down the centre of the bowl almost right to the bottom... size 3+ at a guess. The wind did develop as the day went on:.. this could be a problem on the next few days as there were some areas it was beginning to become stiff and wind affected. We started to see blocks breaking off at switch backs on the track in more loaded/ steeper areas. The skin track up ridge 2000 is going to be super slick once the wind gives it a good buff overnight
