Great day spent in ursus tree, with the optionnal exit in hospital gully. Snow was excellent, bottomless and light. Almost perfect day except a lost ski at the end of the gully, due to too much snow and a high stoke level.
We did multiple handshear with no results, mainly on sheltered area slope, between 1800 and 2300m, inclination between 20 and 35 deg. SH layer was about 100cm down, S-E aspect.
Weather was variable, some flurries and breaking clouds. Quite windy in the alpine with significant wind slabs already bluiding up (around 20 cm this morning) and snow transport in hospital bowl.
We saw no signs of instability during the day, conditions again felt stable but won't probably stay that way with the coming storm.
