Today we did a big sled tour in the Big Y and Big Blue areas. There has been up to 45cm of snow in the past few days with little wind effect which is making for excellent riding and skiing conditions. Winds were calm through most of the day but occasionally gusting light to moderate out of the south and moving the new snow around. We measured 45cm of new snow at 1900 meters. This new snow is bonding very well to the previous surface and there was no formation of windslab that we noticed. South aspects were becoming moist by mid-day but all other aspects stayed cool.
