Ogden Benches Xmas Trees

The snow was quite deep at Sherbrooke Lake on the Ogden Benches. We skied the Xmas trees at the end of the lake on the west side of the lake that is the last avy path. 60-70 cm on top of the icy crust in the trees. Seemed like 20cm overnight. There were several sluffs off the east face of Ogden. One turned into a slide/powder cloud that dusted into the larger trees close to the uptrack. I tried to grab a pic but it’s blurry, the last photo has it circled. The wind had picked up considerably with light snow and it sounded like a cornice failure. We left because of the changing conditions. Another party skied the Paget glades. Getting into the parking lot would have been complicated without winter tires.
