There's nothing "amazing" about this place yet. Other MIN reports really don't paint a picture I experienced. Rapid loading and high winds through the day. This was hit with the predicted 25-30cms. Ogden wall was active throughout the day. Saw the powder cloud that dusted the other large party off their approach. The bowl threatening the upper bench skin tracks went 3x during the day as it reloaded multiple times. It's difficult to want to stay in the safe trees instead with your uptrack now, because they suck! Snow is not supportive and frustrating through any trees. Uptracking through the trees was quite heinous. We were uptracking further skiers right in the faint gully left of the large path. Trees holding a lot of snow, but it's very bottomless with nothing to carry you. Truthfully, scary tree well conditions. Benches skied slow and heavy due to wind affect. It was good enough we decided to call a "one and done". Was still pinging obvious rocks in the exit gully, ugh, and it required conservative skiing to save the skis. It's "amazing" to be out, and I am encouraged the season could be shaping up nice, but theres truly nothing amazing about the skiing yet in this zone.
Hanging bowl on Ogen wall was very active from multiple start zones. Reloaded and went 3x during the time we were at the benches. Didn't see if it hit the uptrack.
