Probed a 75cm snow depth at approx 1800m on a northeast aspect. There is a crust down approx 10cm with a 3cm feathery surface hoar layer on top that has been present for at least 5 days on all aspects and elevations >1600m. My plan is to keep an eye on this surface hoar layer over the next couple weeks until the next storm cycle. The surface hoar has not melted down yet on the south aspects that I have been on. Untracked North aspects are pretty ok riding! Below 1800m was getting pretty brushy, and the wind event from Nov 6 weekend has left a lot of big spruce down making the ride and skin up challenging in some spots.
