Went up Hanover via the right of the two south couloirs. General snow conditions update:
- Snow starts in earnest at ~1150m. We approached via Deeks Lake
- Snow was largely well consolidated, and not very deep. At ~1350m and above, there was a very hard crust, with about 10cm of powder sitting on top
- Observed no signs of recent avalanches anywhere in sight
- Upon gaining the summit and stepping over the crest to the east side, there was indeed more deep powder from wind transport
- Snow was a little wet at lower elevations from melting snow in trees constantly dripping on it. Very thin.
