Ursus minor col

Skied ursus minor col around 12pm today.
Quite a few parties have been through in the last few days it seems. The skiing in the chute was pretty average, quite chopped up with old skin tracks and ski tracks. At the apron of the chute the skiing improved heaps and we had some brilliant turns all the way down to Ursus trees.
Performed 2x hand shears near the top of the col, both on the skiers right. I had 2x of the same results, I needed to use a lot of pressure with a bit of shaking and I managed to shear a block off around 40cm~ deep. This is probably a combination of wind loading and the same layer other people have been finding in their reports.
Ski out was good, all of the creeks are skiable in the drainage, but very thin snow right near the bottom of the summer trail.
