Renshaw sort of

Frozen Pirate, Saturday 8th February, 2025 10:38PM

Bit of a north rockies rip. Frozen rock hard in the am with wonderful mashed potatoes in the afternoon. Afternoon solar temps to 10deg at 2200m. Very moist snow at all asp and elevations. Very loose and bottemless below tree line. At 2250m open alpine feature total snow depth was 205cm. Numerous and almost constant loose wet slides to sz2.5 on any rocky alpine aspect that received some sun although no real slab activity. We rode some big terrain while being aware of the sloar weakness. All in all a great day but June could have waited a bit longer.
