Quite a few parties up Hamilton Lake way. Up tracks from the previous 48 hours were blown in once at the lake. Evidence of some large slides on lee aspects. A few sz 2s and a notable sz 3 off S Ridge of Carnarvon. Cornice triggered. Looked to have stepped down to ground in some shallow areas in extreme terrain. Looked very fresh. Less than 24h. Descending from Top Hat/Carnarvon col we encountered some older debris from a large slide from the East face of Carnarvon. Then another large slide off Top Hat. Looked quite recent. Hard to see under the valley fog. Very large debris that looked like it triggered some unsupported features at tree line. Mostly good skiing with little wind effect.
