Mountain Conditions Report

All the indicators of an increased avalanche hazard were there today. Strong gusty winds, new snow, upside down trail breaking and shooting cracks off the tips. There was a variable distribution of snow. Some slopes were scoured down to a crust and some had deposits of up to 70cms of 4F slabs. We skied down from 2200m and trigger small slabs 1-1.5 SE aspect @ 1900m 30-40cms deep. They had good propagation but didn't run far.
