<p>Good early season coverage, on the East aspect Peak Of Tinerife Ridge. 100+cm of snow that has set in, without too much wind affect. A good even blanket of base.
No signs of recent avalanches
A catchy surface crust was found at all elevations up to 450m. Didn’t effect skiing too bad at all.
Test results: 1230pm, 425m, East aspect, 1 Deg.C
CTM 12, multiple test, SC, down 20cm on thin weak layer. 1F density above, and below. Felt sticky, slab not wanting to move easily.
Alpine terrain looked well filled in, but with much more wind effect/cross loading. Did not venture up.
