Followed the Rummel Ridge skin track up to the top of the Engadine burn. Dug a pit on a west aspect slope at 2450m. The top 10cm was very fluffy powder, and the lower 65cm was relatively soft snow. Not necessarily sugary or faceted, but also not super cohesive. Did not notice any slab problems, weak layers, or sun crusts. No fracture occurred during our column test. We followed an avalanche path with lots of tracks for our first descent which turned out to be pretty awful. No sign of instability, but it was super choppy. For our second lap we tended further skier's left to a steep glade with no tracks and it skied much better. Again, no signs of instability. The luge track on the way out was super crusty with lots of hazards begging to be hit.
