Found some good turns at TL and above on Hector South Ridge. Kept it mellow with average slope angle around 20 degrees (a couple steeper sections in the trees). Not much snow with 130cm at TL and 80cm at 2450m. BTL ski out was a bit survival-esque.
Did a CT at 2450m, W aspect, 21 degree slope: HS 80cm, CT12 SP 45cm down on Dec 17 layer. Put block back and then had a SC with one more tap (CT13) on the Nov surface hoar/facets layer down 65cm. Below that, weak facets to ground. Above the Dec layer we found a 4F slab with the top 10cm being fresh unconsolidated snow.
