Fantail area alpine
Yukon Field Team , Wednesday 30th December, 2020 4:45PM
Interesting weather today with an inversion (colder temps at valley bottom) made for a nice day to walk around the alpine. Valley cloud in many little pockets with the occasional break. Once above the cloud layer we made a high point as the snow transitioned from soft wind affected. Lower angle alpine features were supportive to skis and TL down had some great skiing.
Snow conditions were: Wind affected, Powder. Weather conditions were: Warm, Foggy. We rode: Alpine slopes, Mellow slopes, Steep slopes, Open trees. We avoided: Convex slopes. Riding quality was good.
