-24hrs old Natural on steep unsupported lee feature from light overnight winds (<20km) Suspect failure layer Dec 8 crust (IFrc) down 100cm due to wind loaded feature. Didn’t step down to any lower Nov persistent weak layers but debris mass triggered slabs on Dec 8th on unsupported convex rolls in slide path. Viewed from across valley

Snow conditions were: Deep powder. Weather conditions were: Cold, Warm, Sunny. We rode: Dense trees, Convex slopes, Steep slopes, Sunny slopes, Open trees. We avoided: Alpine slopes. Riding quality was amazing.

Avalache Conditions: Slab avalanches today or yesterday.

Clear skies, stronger than expected solar input during PM but was not a factor to slide trigger as it was observed in AM
