10-15cm surface facets observed above 2000m to about 2250m. Thinner snowpack and soft windslab in the Alpine. Good skiing and supportive base below 2000m. -20C in the morning at the car. Temperature around -13C in the Alpine. Much warmer back at the road in the afternoon. A couple recent sides observed in the Alpine from steep terrain. One small point release on surface facets.

Snow conditions were: Wind affected, Powder. Weather conditions were: Cold, Sunny. We rode: Alpine slopes, Mellow slopes, Steep slopes, Sunny slopes. Riding quality was good.
