I can also confirm, great skiing today in Fraser Chutes. Skied up to 1300 m elevation, where the “chutes” transition from open tree line to alpine. Depth of snowpack was 165 cms, with 40 to 60 cms of low density snow with no wind affect (F to 4F). No cracking or whumpfing were observed today. No avalanches observed. @1200 m, S aspect, 30 degree slope we observed moderate, sudden planar results on a shovel test, with the failure layer being what I suspect is the November rain crust down around 80 cms. Weather today was partly cloudy and foggy (to south and north of Fraser Chutes), with moderate temps (-6c) and light SW winds. The creek ski out has open water and holes - looks like a few people have skied into the water in a few places so be careful on your way out :)
