Crusty and cloudy

Went for a ski out at Corbin today and found 3 cm of new snow over a thin crust that was supportive to skis but not to sled or boots. It was moderately windy from the southeast throughout the day but there wasn't any snow moving around. We stuck to lower angle slopes so if we slipped we wouldn't go for a long slide into something. No new avalanches were seen.
