Mostly overcast skies with moderate to gusty winds. We experienced a brief squall, lasting for half an hour or so, with very light snow accumulations.
Snowpack
As described above, the snowpack below treeline is very thin and completely faceted. We did not make it to any higher, wind-loaded terrain, but the brief view we had of the surrounding higher peaks looked wind-scoured. You might still be able to find a small wind-pocket of snow on a leeward slope near Blair Mountain, but the avalanche concerns would likely be isolated.
