Finally we could ski from the car at Elfin Lakes trailhead, and ski back down to the car! Piles of new snow, very unconsolidated, almost unskiable downhill unless you stayed in the uptrack. At least 30cm ski penetration, heavy powder. Great to see all this new snow, but it needs a bit of time to consolidate before the skiing will be really good.
