Dug a pit on the edge of the trees near the Ravens, pit dug until the consolidation of the snowpack made efforts difficult.
Medium failure’s occurred in the recent storm layer, 10-20cm. Failures were loose and did not seem to propagate easily.
After removal of the loose snow, hard failures occurred between 20-30cm which were more sudden.
extra hard (about as hard as we could muster) failure at 150 at a buried crust layer.
snowpack was fist to 4finger hard from 150-270.
