Skier approached convex roll leading into gully triggering slab to release. Slab was heavy wet snow that appeared to turn into hard wet chunk as it ran. Failure was 40cm down on what appeared to be a MF from the past weekend and a large settlement of approx 2cm occured for surrounding zone.
