After skiing lower section of Hogback we went and skied the top of Gunn site Bowl at about 6300. We stayed off of the steeper chutes which had cornice buildup. We did notice a wind slab at the top of Gunn site bowl (see pic). After doing one large ski cut we did notice some movement, but it was isolated. Note that the pictures I took were from the bottom after we skied it since we needed to get off the top section of the bowl! We were able to stay on lower angle aspects of Gunn site with great success and no further movement. Based on our assessment, we do believe the top portion of Gunn site bowl needs to be avoided until things further consolidate. Any added snow on top of the slab we triggered would definitely be more likely to cause movement and further possible propagation.
Avalanche
We saw two avalanches at the top of Hogback Ridge that looked natural.
