Quick report
Observed a slab avalanche on the north side of Excelsior Peak. It was unclear how old it was. There was also a small dry loose avalanche on the south side of excelsior peak. We did not observe any active signs of instability in the current snowpack heading up to the pass.

Large slab avalanche on the north side of excelsior peak. Unclear how old it was or what triggered it. It looked like there might be two separate crowns.
