Widespread collapsing in the snowpack and evidence of wind effect along the upper elevation of West Mountain, north of Tamarack. Lower elevation new snow was lighter and less supportable/consolidated and the temperature inversion was noticeable today.
Avalanche
Observed avalanche debris on a distant ridge on an East aspect at 7000’. Could not see the crown or be sure when the slope failed or what the trigger might have been
