Quick report

Little Headwall is impassable. Warm temperatures have brought rise to significant amounts of snowmelt. Snowmelt from the ravine collects in the Cutler River drainage, which lies beneath Little Headwall and now contains open, fast-flowing, water, and undermined snow throughout the remaining descent. There have been multiple reports of skiers falling into Cutler River drainage on Little Headwall.

The Sherburne Ski Trail is losing snow very quickly also due to warm temperatures seen the past few days. At cross over 7 there is a section that has melted out, requiring removal of equipment, and a short walk back to snow. The Sherburne Ski trail is closed from crossover 2 down. Please remove skis/boards, cut over to the Tuckerman Ravine Trail and continue descent on foot. The Tuckerman Ravine Trail is narrowing and is reserved for travel by foot.
