Snowpack
Storm snow of 13" began to consolidate today but and was not pushed around by wind at and below treeline. We didn't observe any slab failures in our terrain; some minor cracking. The faceted snowpack below the new storm snow appears to lack the energy given the current load. A thin suncrust developed on solar aspects today. Sluffing was minimal today. We observed crowns from several R1D1 storm slabs (<15m wide) that pulled out on eastern aspects of Ruby Pk and Mt. Owen.
