Quick report
Cinnamon roll style pinwheels were fairly widespread from yesterday, and they were easy and fun to initiate today. We found some fun, spongy pow but mostly it was sticky and heavy. Previous wind loading was apparent, though warm temperatures had settled out any instabilities at the elevations we traveled. Above 6,000ft some snow transport looked to be occurring, though couldn't gauge reactivity of any slabs.
Snowpack is 2-3ft deep in the clearcuts, just barely enough to ski around on depending on surface conditions and comfort level, but the stumps are still out.

Moody day with lenticular clouds, and fog whizzing over ridgetops from strong easterly winds.
Snowpack
HS ranged from 60-80cm in the zone up to about 4,500ft. Surfaces were moist to about 4,500ft. Trees held onto snow above that, and were a good indicator of dry(drier) snow elevation. Below 4,000ft the entire snowpack was either moist or wet.
A weak-ish structure was present with a thin crust over weaker sugary grains down 15-25cm on N'ly aspects. Previous wind loading had created thicker drifts in some areas of the clear cuts.
