High winds at ridge top with variable loading/scouring in Alpine. Low density 8cm HST still found in sheltered trees improving riding quality. Cautiously stepping out into new terrain, assessing as we go. We avoided shallow rocky areas as well as steep open slopes. With the exception of some small loose dry, no natural avalanche activity observed today.
