Quick report
Mixed bag of variables in the snowpack observed yesterday. Turns were ankle deep to knee deep lower down. The wind blown sections in between had a hard surface that wasnt bonding with the new colder snow from 12/16. The skiing was great but raised some concerns seeing continued warming and new snow today. Attached is a photo that shows in the upper right corner the line of concern where the wind had removed the less bonded layer. I agree todays avalanche risk is much higher.
