Isolated cracking on wind affected snow. Hand pits showed a crust/facet layer that became notably less stout as we gained elevation. Snow conditions varied from stiff wind transported snow over crust, to 1+ foot deep low density snow.
Avalanche
Observed recent avalanches on a steep convexity with wind affected snow, likely from Thursday 2/15. Some loose dry activity as well.
