Moderate wind @ ridges with active minor transport. Lots of evidence of wind loading from previous storm cycle out of the SW. Some cracking noted in wind drifted snow, but l only traveled on S and W aspects. No naturals except one dry loose in cliffy NE facing terrain. Probably 4-6 new at 6000’, 8-10 of right side up snow up higher. Dug at 7000’ on a W aspect, 25 degree sheltered slope. HS 170-180 cm. ECT N 1 and 6 down 10 cm in storm snow density change. ECT N 25 and 29 down 55 cm, not sure what the layer here was. Exposed south aspects at 6400 had crusted up by the end of the day.
