Quick report
Visibility was limited. East facing aspects were wind scoured and cornices were not at all reactive. West facing gullies seemed to be developing wind slab. New snow is sluffing very easily (sliding off of pits when shovel is placed on the column and moving readily under skies). West facing ribs that were visibly being x loaded by east and south had some small reactive wind slab.

Snowed most of the day with some breaks. Winds were mostly out of the south or east and blowing in the 10-20 mph range most of the day with no real significant gusts. There was visible snow transport happening all day.
Snowpack
Our primary concern for the day was wind slab on lee aspects and potential for storm slab development. The storm slab did not materialize while we were out but we found some evidence of wind slab on west facing gullies and ridges. Dug a pit at 7720'ish on south aspect. It was a bit windloaded and HS was about 235. Found multiple crusts but no notable slab formation. ECTN20 @25 cm down; ECTP29 @80 cm down. Also dug a pit on the north facing aspect at similar elevation - HS 195. ECTN17 @25cm down on crust and new snow interface.
