Quick report
We hiked up East Camas Peak on 10/22/23. We didn't encounter any snow on the hike up to the peak at 8766 ft. The only snow visible was on the tallest peaks in the Southern Bitterroot, which appeared to have a small amount of mostly non-continuous snow on north faces above 9000 ft. The morning was quite pleasant with scattered clouds and relatively warm temperatures. After around noon, some off-and-on light rain showers started, and the wind picked up.
