Quick report

There was no new precipitation from 9am-3pm. Periodically, the sun came out enough to make shadows while staying behind a thin layer of clouds. We witnessed and created roller balls while riding. The snow felt slushy and heavy.

Avalanche

We found several wet loose avalanches, the largest and most concentrated in number being on the southeast and south face of Table Mountain. Working clockwise south to north from the Heather Meadows lot, these slides were located in the terrain between Artist Point and Herman Saddle. The naturally-occurring slides appeared to have released yesterday (Friday) as the debris was settled and appeared rained on. We did not see any new slides release.
