Quick report
Performed a compression test at 5200 on a NE aspect 32 degree slope. No failure through 10 shoulder taps. Used shovel shear to force failure at February crust layer. Found facets on top of the February crust, but they appeared to have consolidated somewhat since the report earlier in the week. Or perhaps it was just our location. Skied two 500 ft laps on opennish 30 degree slopes. Managed to generate some minor surface sluffing on small 35 slope. Ski quality was very enjoyable. Even when within 100 feet of the highway the snow that fell Friday night was enough to buffer from the crust underneath.
